"The Hideout"
A perfect retreat, and one of the bases for our horse riding weekends, the Hideout is tucked away on the banks of the Lower Howqua River. Set amongst 3 acres of lawns and European trees in the middle of the bush, the Hideout offers tranquility and beauty and a well equipped functional camp.

The dining/recreational area is well appointed with Austar, video, TV and pianola. The bar is based on the "Man from Snowy River" film set and you can imagine the tales that are told there.

A fully equipped commercial kitchen can provide facilities for the riding groups, weddings, corporate or social group functions. Combine this with the Treehouse, BBQ on the banks of the river, natural rock swimming pool, the Hideout has it all. We also can offer abseiling, canoeing, cricket, volley ball and table tennis activities.

"Seeforth Station at Sheepyard Flat "
Seeforth is a functioning cattle property which has hosted many riding groups over the years. It is the base camp for all the long rides over the mountains and high plains. The camp has basic rustic style accommodation, all bunk style and is centered around a large recreational/dining/living/kitchen area. There is a large undercover fireplace off the dining rome. Relaxing with a cool drink at the end of a long day is a common experience. There are 3 showers and 3 toilets and can accommodate up to 30 people.
