Some of the rides you can do with Lovicks this season!

Curtain raiser at Bonnie Doon, Spring action not far away!

The horses are fresh from their winter spell on the Bonnie Doon out paddocks and are ridden back to Merrijig, with an overnight stay in Mansfield on the way. Inevitably this will result in a late night on the town - a terrific way to start the new season.

13th - 14th September - $410 pp

Weekend rides - Three Day Rides
Throughout most weekends from october to mid-June, you may join us for 2 days of fun and excitement, as we ride through the howqua - Delatite region. There are two destinations available. The Hideout on the Lower Howqua. * We have a new river track between Seeforth Station (Sheepyard) and The Hideout with some 30 river crossings and brilliant canters. Talk to us about the possibilities. Seeforth Lodge, explore the ancient bridle tracks and the historic gold mining areas.

Cattle Drives - 3 Days of Whipcracking Fun
We are continuing to make the annual trip to the bush with the Lovick herd of Herefords. On the first cattle drive, we will send the cattle from the farm at merrijig to Seeforth at Sheepyard Flat via the Hideout

Summer High Country Rides - January and February
These rides will give you a taste of everything - from snow gum forests on Mt Stirling and the beautiful area around Craig's Hut, Mt Lovick and King Billy with spectacular views across the great Divide and the High Plains beyond, to the woollybut forests and then the rainforests along the rivers

Kids Camps School Holidays in September, October and January
The legendary Lovick's Kids Camp is back......

Five days of fun, adventure, riding and bush craft for the 8 to 15 year olds.

The camp will be based at the Seeforth Station near Sheepyard Flat or the Hideout in the lower Howqua. Explore this historic region situated in the heart of the beautiful Howqua River Valley.

Supervision by Charlie, Glenda, Kellie and all the Lovick crew to ensure a great camp.

Bogong Rides - Highlight of the calendar
All these rides will start and finish at Dinner Plain Resort.

We will ride the magnificent High Plains of the Bogongs. Taking in places like Young's Tops, Pretty valley, Rockie Valley, The Fainters, Falls Creek, Anglers Rest, McNamara's Hut and all the historical huts of the area. Become the Man from Snowy River and try to catch a brumby or two, on the run

The 1st - 7th February

Same fun, same scenery but with chalet accommodation each night, except for one where you will enjoy camping under the stars........

Refreshments: We ask you provide your own refreshments, i.e. soft drinks, wine, beer and spirits. We also suggest where possible drinks are contained in aluminum or plastic bottles. We have ample fridge room to keep refreshments cold. Please do not under estimate your needs, The days are warm and the nights are long. It also a long way to the nearest milk bar or bottle shop......
