Our Partnership with Mazda

Once or twice a year for over 15 years, Mazda Australia has organised a trip with Charlie for their retailers and management teams into the high country to give them a chance to test their 4WD vehicles in this rugged Australian terrain.

A lot of time was spent building a purpose built course that suits Mazda's requirements as Charlie strongly believes that  this is the best way to educate 4WD groups. Many situations are simulated with driving 4WD vehicles in a freestyle capacity. Included in these training exercises have been extended tours through the high country and the Alps for the groups to experience the real Australian environment!
 
You may have noticed Charlie tacking the Victorian high country in a new Mazda BT50. Recently, Charlie was approached by Berwick Mazda to be an ambassador for their dealership. They noticed the lack of exposure in the Victorian high country for their vehicles and, having been impressed with their development over the past 15 years Charlie was honoured to accept the position. He will be involved with promotion of Mazda throughout the high country with the free lease of the BT50 for the next 12 months. He's keen to show farmers and high country cattleman just what this Mazda can do. 

Charlie had this to say about the association. “The Mazda BT50 is fantastic! Glenda and I have found it an utter pleasure to drive. Having tested it in some really rugged terrain, I’ve put it to the test more than most people. So much so that I have bought one myself! Now we’ve got a family of Mazdas for both business and personal use. I put my money where my mouth is and I’ve found Berwick Mazda fantastic to deal with and I applaud them for taking the initiative to take a vehicle, test it and give it feedback. There is no tougher test for 4WD in Australia than to give it to me for testing! We’re prepared to give our clientele base an opportunity to see these vehicles in action and drive one themselves to really see how well they perform in the rugged high country terrain."
