Winter Break Update
It’s that time of the year again. The horses had their roll in the grass at Bonnie Doon and I said “I love you guys, but I’m off on a cruise”. I knew they were thinking, “don’t call us, we’ll call you”! Glenda and I are hitting the high seas for a couple of weeks in July before settling down and working on a few new programs for our trips next season.
Seeforth Station is having a big makeover that we’d love you to be involved in. The first working bee will take place on the 19th and 20th June and we'll hold at least one a month until our rides start again. Ring us for details...we’d love to see you.
King Billy has progressed very well this season and we have the roof and walls on and the fireplace is almost finished. We’ve reached lock up stage for this winter and will be getting back into it in Spring for an opening, we hope, pre-Christmas 2010. Watch this space, you’re all invited!
Brian Wallis will be returning home to his beloved high country in September and we’re due to start work educating our three youngsters in Smarty, Maggie and Chloe. We’ll keep you updated on their progress and even share some pictures of the breaking in experience.
Looking forward to seeing you next riding season but, in the meantime, remember the working bees! I’ll even shout ya a beer!
Charlie
