Our Horses

Lovicks horses are willing, kind, surefooted and will carry their riders (no matter what level of experience) safely over the rugged terrain of the Great Dividing Range. Our horses aren’t just trail riding horses, they are smart bush horses and know their country as well we do. 

We pride ourselves on knowing our horses' every characteristic. We are experts in matching horse and rider, and working with our horses as a team. Like humans, horses have their own unique personalities and we let those personalities shine.

Glenda and Charlie Lovick have been taking horseback riding tours across the high country for over 40 years, watching horse and rider partnerships form on each trip. This is what being a high country horseman is all about, the trust between horse and rider.
